Novak Djokovic coasted into the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters on Friday to set up a rematch with Juan Martin del Potro, two weeks after the Argentine defeated him in the bronze-medal match at the London Olympics.
The Serb second seed took just 80 minutes to overcome Marin Cilic 6-3 6-2 to extend his unbeaten career record over the Croatian to 7-0.
“It was my best match so far here in this tournament. Came in the right moment, really. I had the biggest challenge today with Cilic who has been playing well the last couple of months. Played a really good match,” Djokovic said, ATPWorldTour.com reported.
